How To Get Started
To be eligible for Verizon Skill Forward a Verizon account is not required. No prior experience or a college degree is required. You must simply be at least 17 years old and based in the United States and complete the following steps:
Step 1: Register
Complete a brief application form to get started. You’ll instantly find out if you’ve been accepted into Verizon Skill Forward. Once accepted, you’ll have 30 days to complete the following steps to maintain access to the year-long subscription.
Step 2: Activate
Once accepted, you will receive an email with details on your one-year subscription to edX. Click the link in the email within seven (7) days to officially activate your edX subscription.
Step 3: Learn
Kick off your learning journey by completing the short introductory course within your first 30 days to unlock year-long access and start earning a résumé-worthy certificate.
