Hana Scott | COO
Hana Scott serves as the Chief Operating Officer of the Association of Women's Business Centers (HOPE2Women's host organization), where she leads operational strategy, systems design, and organizational capacity building to strengthen the national Women's Business Center network. She is responsible for building the infrastructure, processes, and cross-functional collaboration that enable AWBC to expand its impact and better support women entrepreneurs nationwide.
With more than 15 years of experience across nonprofit leadership, technology consulting, and entrepreneurship, Hana has dedicated her work to helping mission-driven organizations operate more effectively and grow sustainably. Before joining AWBC, she founded Pugh Insights, an operations consulting firm that partners with nonprofits, small businesses, and community organizations to strengthen systems, improve efficiency, and build the operational foundation needed for long-term success. Her expertise spans organizational strategy, change management, process improvement, and organizational development, with a particular focus on supporting women-owned businesses and mission-driven organizations. At the heart of her approach is a simple belief that when organizations have strong systems and clear strategy, they are better equipped to create lasting impact for the communities they serve.
A Baltimore native, Hana earned her bachelor's degree in Biology from the University of Maryland Eastern Shore. She is a TEDx speaker, an active community leader, and proudly serves as First Lady of Baltimore. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her husband and their three children, collecting vintage vinyl records, singing karaoke, tackling home design projects, and finding any excuse to combine strategy with creativity.
